Cost of living in maldives - Male city

Every visitors and tourists asked how about cost of living in Maldives specially in male capital city of Maldives.
Now i am in male city for 6 months , male city cost of living is high parallel to other cities in srilanka or what ever.
But in some boutiques the prices are same as in other countries. as a srilankan now exchange rate is 1 dollar equal to 15 ruffia, and 1 ruffia equal to 8 rupees.

But Perfumes and other bathroom items and kictchen items prices are same.

Most Expensive items are Laptops and Cloths.
If you going to buy a Mobile phone like i phone in male , the prices are reasonable.
and used phones are cheeper in maldives sometimes iphone 4 going 5000rufia(278 Dollers)

Apartment prices are very high in male city
